I scaled down this giant so you can slide his steady, quiet energy right into an envelope. He still completely fills the space because his presence demands it, but those dark, soulful eyes tell a completely peaceful story. I wanted to capture that massive, calm energy you only feel around an elephant, layering deep midnight navy with bright splashes of purple and orange right onto his skin. Look closely at his forehead and trunk on the card front. You can see every bit of the stippled texture and fine, crackled lines I drew on my iPad to mimic actual elephant hide.
I set him against a stylized savanna landscape under a bright blue sky to let those rich, saturated tones pop. It is the perfect, direct note to ground someone's day.
