FAQs - Wild Pack Print Club
-
It’s a monthly art subscription that delivers exclusive animal-themed fine art prints from me—sent straight to your mailbox, the old-fashioned way. Think of it as snail mail with heart. Like we’re becoming pen pals, one envelope at a time. And best of all, 10% of every subscription will go to an animal nonprofit doing real, meaningful work.
Each month, you’ll receive:
– A 5x7 fine art print featuring an animal design
– Information about the animal rescue or organization your subscription supported that month.
It’s a fun way to support animals, an independent artist, and a small business—all in one.

I’ve kept pricing as low as I can so the club stays affordable for you, supports the animal rescues we donate to, and keeps this small-but-mighty business thriving.
U.S. Members:
For U.S. members, the Print Club is $8.50/month + tax, or $96/year + tax. Shipping is always included, and even with sales tax your total will stay under $10/month. Each subscription includes a 10% donation to animal rescues and advocacy organizations.
International members:
For international members, the Print Club is $12/month or $144/year. Shipping is included worldwide, and the small difference reflects the higher cost and extra handling required for mailing prints internationally. All international Print Club orders are shipped as standard letter mail with international stamps.
As an independent artist and small business, I don’t collect or remit VAT/GST at checkout. Registering in every country would be an overwhelming administrative burden that would make Wild Pack Print Club impossible to run. Instead, I focus on keeping prices fair, while being transparent that international recipients may (rarely) be asked to cover these taxes. Because Print Club ships prints as standard letter mail, they usually arrive without any extra fees. If your country applies any import taxes, VAT/GST, or handling fees, these will be collected by your local postal service at delivery. I don’t have any control or influence over this.
Each international subscription also includes a 10% donation to animal rescues and advocacy organizations.

All kinds! Dogs and cats show up often, but I also love painting wildlife, farm animals, and the occasional quirky critter that sneaks in from my imagination.
My animal art is all about fun, whimsy, and quirk—no realism here. You won’t find textbook anatomy or perfect proportions. Instead, think expressive eyes, unexpected colors, whimsy, and bold personalities. Nothing bland or boring.
From golden retrievers to goats to animals that may or may not exist (but definitely should)—if it has fur, feathers, fins, or flair, it’s fair game.
-
It’s a wink to my business name, Wild Thorn Collective, and a celebration of the creatures that inspire my art. “Wild” isn’t just about wolves and foxes (though they’re welcome)—it’s about wild spirit. From house cats to howling coyotes, this club features animals of all stripes. And “Pack”? That’s you. A growing crew of art lovers helping me support animal rescues, one quirky print at a time.
-
Nope! That’s part of the fun. Each month’s print is a surprise.
-
I don’t offer customization by animal type, but you can expect a wide variety over time: dogs, cats, wildlife, farm animals (but quirky!), and maybe even the occasional quirky creature.
If you’re only into one specific kind of animal, this might not be the right fit—but if you love the idea of building a diverse, meaningful collection that celebrates animals in all forms, you’re in the right place.
That said, if there's enough interest, I may offer spin-off clubs down the road (think: dog lovers only, or all-cats-all-the-time). But that’s a little too much to chew off on day one—so for now, we roam as a mixed pack.
-
Each 5x7 art print in the Wild Pack Print Club is exclusive to the club—none of the designs will have been offered previously in this format. The inaugural print will be a completely brand-new design, and future months will feature a mix of new work and reimagined favorites with fresh details, new cropping, or updated colors. While these designs may later appear as greeting cards or larger art prints, the 5x7 version is created solely for subscribers. If you ever happen to receive a design you already own in another format and would prefer something different, just send me a quick photo (either displayed in your space or holding it), and I’ll gladly swap it out. Your collection should always feel fresh and full of surprises.
-
You will receive a 5×7 unframed fine art print.
-
I’ve made an intentional (and expensive!) investment in my production setup so you get exceptional quality in every print. These aren’t quick copies—they’re small-format fine art.
Each print is professionally produced in my studio using a top-of-the-line Canon Image PROGRAF 1100 fine art printer—the same kind trusted by galleries and professional artists. It uses Canon Lucia Pro inks (archival, pigment-based) for rich color, crisp detail, and long-lasting quality.
I print on luxurious, museum-quality fine art paper that’s heavyweight, softly textured, and made to last. It’s acid-free, archival, and has a beautiful matte finish that brings out the richness and character of each design. When you hold one, you’ll feel the difference.
-
It’s true—5x7 is a smaller format, but it’s surprisingly versatile. You can frame it with a large mat to make a statement, create a rotating mini-gallery, or tuck it into a bookshelf or desk space for a pop of personality.
And let’s be honest—you probably have someone in your life who will love something that may not be quite your vibe and who will be delighted to receive it. These prints make wonderful, affordable gifts for birthdays, thank-yous, or just-because days.
Over time, you’ll build a collection with heart, color, and a whole lot of character.

Great question! You absolutely can—and should—if you're called to. But the Wild Pack Print Club offers something a little different. By pooling a portion of every subscription, I can make a larger, more meaningful donation on behalf of all of us. A dollar or less might not feel impactful on its own—and let’s be honest, most of us wouldn’t make a stand-alone $1 or less donation. But together, those small amounts add up quickly.
Each month, I’ll make a donation on behalf of all subscribers and share the story of the animal or organization you helped support.
It’s a feel-good, do-good, hang-it-on-your-wall kind of win.
-
At the beginning, it might be. Starting small is part of starting at all—but I believe in the mission and want it to matter from day one. That’s why I pledge to donate at least $25 each month to an animal organization, even if 10% of revenue hasn’t hit that mark yet. $25 might not sound like a lot, but to a small rescue, it can mean food, vaccines, or a safe night of shelter. And I’m proud to start there. My goal is for Wild Pack Print Club to grow into something big and impactful—but the giving starts now.
-
At first, I’ll be focusing on animal organizations within the United States. I’ll be choosing a mix of local rescues, national nonprofits, and smaller under-the-radar groups doing meaningful work for animals—both wild and domestic. My focus is on organizations that are transparent, mission-driven, and no-kill, with a proven commitment to the long-term wellbeing of the animals.
As our community grows, I’ll explore expanding internationally. Supporting groups outside the U.S. can be more complex because of language barriers, differences in reporting, and fewer ways to confirm how funds are used. My priority is making sure every donation goes to an organization I’ve been able to fully research and trust.
Whether or not I expand internationally will also depend on the mix of subscribers. If a larger portion of the Pack is international, I’ll take that into account, but I’ll only move forward when I’m confident I can properly vet the organizations involved.
Over time, I hope to support a variety of organizations—from senior dog rescues and wildlife rehab centers to farm animal sanctuaries. If you know of a group doing amazing work, I’d love to hear about them! Email me your recommendations at katie@wildthorncollective.com.
-
Nope—there’s no partnership in place. I’m not being paid, promoted, or sponsored by any of the organizations I feature. I’m simply making sure they receive a meaningful donation on behalf of Wild Pack Print Club subscribers.
In fact, the plan right now is they won’t even know a donation’s coming until they get it. This isn’t about promotion or collaboration—it’s about quietly doing something good through art.
If Wild Pack Print Club grows like I hope it will, there may be reasons later to explore partnerships, promotions or sponsorships, but that is not a day 1 priority.
-
Absolutely. I believe in being open about where your money goes. I’ll share quarterly donation totals on my website, so you can see exactly how much we’ve collectively raised and which organizations we’ve supported.
This isn’t just a feel-good promise—it’s a real part of the mission. You’ll always know who we supported and how much we gave, in a clear and honest way.
-
I totally get it—everyone has different causes they feel strongly about. I’ll do my best to choose reputable, mission-driven animal organizations that are making a real difference. That said, I know not every pick will resonate with every person.
If one month’s featured organization isn’t your favorite, I hope you’ll still enjoy the art and know that the next month will bring a new story and a different group to support. The beauty of this model is that, over time, we get to make a broad impact across many types of animal-focused work.
If you ever have suggestions for organizations to consider, I’d love to hear them!

As an CPA by profession, I know there are plenty of ways to make numbers tell different stories—but there’s no creative math here to try and keep more for myself. I will donate 10% of gross sales each month—that’s 10% of what you pay (except the tax), with no deductions for printing, shipping, or other costs. If I want to increase what I take home, it’s on me to reduce my expenses—not your donation.
-
Nope. And remember—I’m an accountant. While it might sound like I’d personally benefit from the donations, this isn’t considered a charitable contribution for me. Because the donations come from my business and are tied to revenue, they’re treated as a business expense, not a personal tax deduction. In other words, I’m not pocketing tax breaks—I’m just making sure part of every subscription goes where it matters: to animals in need.
-
Ah yes, the follow-up question for the skeptics in the back—I see you. 👀
Technically, yes—business donations can reduce taxable income. But if lowering my tax bill were the goal, I could just lower the subscription price and skip the donation entirely. That would serve me—but not the mission. I created Wild Pack Print Club to do more than just fund my art. I want it to support animal organizations in a real way. Your cents added together will make a meaningful donation. That’s the heart of this print club—and I’m proud to lead with it.
-
Art is personal, and I know not every print will be everyone’s favorite—that’s part of the adventure! The Wild Pack Print Club is about building a quirky, meaningful collection over time. Some prints might make you laugh, others might tug at your heart, and a few might just not be your thing.
While I don’t offer refunds or exchanges for Print Club, you’re always welcome to pass along a print to another animal lover if it’s not quite your style. And if the club ever stops feeling like the right fit, you can cancel anytime—just be sure to do so before the cutoff dates (the 25th of the month for monthly plans, or the 25th of your 12th month for annual plans) to avoid being charged for the next cycle. Please note that refunds are not available if a cancellation is made after the cutoff date.
No hard feelings—I want this to be joyful for both of us.
