Why are U.S. gift vouchers priced slightly higher than regular subscriptions?
Gift vouchers are priced to cover everything your recipient needs — including sales tax — so they’ll never owe anything to redeem their gift. There’s nothing worse than receiving a gift and finding out you still have to pay for it! Vouchers are set at a flat rate that covers all states and ensures your recipient’s experience feels seamless and complete.
What about international vouchers?
International gift vouchers are priced the same as regular subscriptions ($12/month or $144/year). This reflects higher postage costs, customs handling, and a small cushion for postal rate changes.
Will my international recipient have to pay VAT, GST, or import duties?
Usually not. Prints are shipped as standard letter mail, which almost always arrives without extra fees. Occasionally, a country’s postal service may charge VAT, GST, or import duties, and if that happens, the recipient would pay those directly to their local post office.
When does the subscription start?
Your recipient’s subscription begins once they redeem their voucher and choose their preferred start month (from several upcoming dates).
Do gift vouchers expire?
Yes — vouchers must be redeemed within 15 months of purchase. This ensures fair pricing and sustainability for an independent artist.
What if my recipient doesn’t redeem right away?
That’s totally fine! The subscription doesn’t begin until they redeem the voucher, so your gift will still feel new whenever they decide to start.
Does the recipient need to cancel?
No. Gift voucher subscriptions end automatically when the prepaid term is complete — no cancellations or surprise renewals.
Will my recipient have to pay anything?
U.S. recipients: No. Everything is covered in your one-time purchase.
