Donation Stories & Impact
The Pack’s Impact
Each month, 10% of all Wild Pack Print Club subscriptions are donated to an animal rescue or advocacy organization. I’ve pledged that the Print Club will always donate at least $25 total each month. If subscriber contributions don’t reach that amount, I personally cover the difference. As the Pack grows, donations will naturally exceed that minimum, and my hope is that over time our monthly impact grows into the hundreds or even thousands.
Donation partners are chosen thoughtfully, with an emphasis on ethical, mission-driven organizations and causes that are often underfunded or overlooked. Whenever possible, I also try to select organizations connected to subscriber locations or aligned with the themes of that month’s artwork. Each partner is reviewed for legitimacy, transparency, and meaningful impact before being selected.
I believe deeply in this endeavor, and I know that together we can build something that creates real, lasting impact for animals in need. Scroll below to see our growing impact—donations are listed with the most recent months first. We’re starting small, but soon we’ll be mighty.
January 2026 Donation Recipient: Dane County Humane Society
For January, 10% of Wild Pack Print Club sales were donated to Dane County Humane Society in Madison, Wisconsin. This donation was made during a 2× matching campaign, doubling the impact of our gift.
DCHS is a private, nonprofit animal shelter providing care and refuge for companion animals, wildlife, and farm animals throughout Dane County. They operate as an open-admission shelter, meaning animals are never turned away, and they uphold an adoption guarantee, ensuring animals are not euthanized due to space or length of stay. In addition to sheltering and adoptions, DCHS runs a nationally recognized Wildlife Center, rehabilitating thousands of injured and orphaned wild animals each year, and offers programs that support both animals and the people who care for them.

Subscriber Abby W. lives in the Madison area, and one of my goals for Print Club is to support animal organizations near our members.
Thank you for being part of the Pack and helping make this local impact possible.

December 2025 Donation Recipient: Wildlife Center of Virginia
This month, Wild Pack Print Club is proud to support the Wildlife Center of Virginia, a nonprofit teaching and rehabilitation hospital located in Waynesboro, Virginia. Founded in 1982, the center provides expert veterinary care for injured, sick, and orphaned native wildlife, with the goal of returning healthy animals to their natural habitats. Over the last four decades, they’ve treated more than 100,000 wild patients and have become a nationally respected training site for veterinarians, wildlife rehabilitators, and conservation professionals.
I try to choose charities in areas where our Pack members live, and two of our current subscribers are located near the Wildlife Center. I love knowing that our collective impact can strengthen local communities connected to our members.
This month’s recipient is meaningful to me for another reason: when I was in college back in the late 1980s, I volunteered briefly at the Wildlife Center. At that time, the organization was still fairly new, having been founded just a few years earlier. Seeing how they’ve not only endured but expanded their reach and continued their mission for more than forty years is incredibly gratifying. Supporting them now feels like a full-circle moment.
If you’d like to explore their work, their 2024 Annual Report has great highlights and impact stories. It provides an in-depth look at their caseload, rehabilitation work, educational programs, and the broader conservation role they play in Virginia and beyond. You can also explore their website for more information.
Thank you for being part of Wild Pack Print Club and helping turn whimsical art into meaningful support for animals that need care, compassion, and a second chance.

November 2025 Donation Recipient: The Feline Fix
Every cat deserves a safe life—whether loved in a home or living wild under the stars. This month, the Wild Pack Print Club is proud to support The Feline Fix, Colorado’s leading nonprofit devoted to the humane care of community cats.
Since its founding, The Feline Fix has spayed and neutered more than 52,000 cats, preventing countless litters and easing the strain on shelters across the state. Their Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program gives feral and community cats a chance to live healthier, calmer lives while reducing overpopulation humanely.
Your subscription helps fund this life-changing work—one cat, one colony at a time.
This month, our donation is going to Colorado, where subscriber Christine G. lives. Thank you for helping us spread the Wild Pack Print Club’s reach—and compassion—nationwide.

October 2025 Donation Recipient — Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue
For the very first Wild Pack Print Club donation, I chose a rescue that has profoundly touched my life: Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue (NRGRR). I’ve been lucky to adopt two dogs through NRGRR, and today I want to share the story of one of them—Kasey.
Kasey spent her early years in a backyard breeding program, confined to a cage in a garage. When NRGRR finally convinced the breeder to surrender her, she weighed only 38 pounds, her teeth worn down to the gumline from biting the bars of her cage. She was filthy, matted, and in heartbreaking condition. NRGRR stepped in, shaved her down, and began the long process of bringing her back to health. She spent several months with a foster parent—the same one who had fostered my first NRGRR dog—before coming home with me.
Thanks to their care, Kasey was still a little thin but already thriving when I adopted her. Despite everything she endured, she was amazingly resilient. Kasey never seemed weighed down by her past. Instead, she was playful, joyful, and endlessly loving.
One of my favorite memories is how she wagged her tail the entire time she ate her meals. For a dog who had once been starved, every bite was a celebration.
In her later years, Kasey developed melanoma and canine cognitive disorder. I promised she would never suffer again, and with the help of my longtime vet, I kept her comfortable for as long as possible. When the time came, she passed gently and peacefully.
Kasey enriched my life beyond measure. I hope everyone is fortunate enough to experience the love of a dog like her.
